Phone hacking: Rebekah Brooks was guest at David Cameron's birthday party
Just 72 hours after No 10 officials said they had released all the details ofMr Cameron's numerous meetings with media executives, they were forced to disclose additional dates.
The updated list included details of Mr Cameron's 44th birthday party at Chequers in October, which Mrs Brooks, the former News International chief executive, attended. It led to further questions about his links with the newspaper group.
On Sunday, Mrs Brooks was arrested and questioned for nine hours by detectives investigatingphone hackingand illegal payments at the News of the World. She was editor from 2000 to 2003.
